The science behind HBOT
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) works by delivering pure oxygen in a pressurised chamber, allowing your lungs to absorb much more oxygen than they can at normal air pressure. This extra oxygen is carried by your blood to promote faster healing, reduce inflammation, and fight infection. HBOT helps repair damaged tissues, stimulates new blood vessel growth, and supports overall recovery — making it a powerful, non-invasive therapy used in both medical and wellness settings.
In a hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber, the air pressure is increased 2 to 3 times higher than normal air pressure. The lungs can gather more oxygen than would be possible breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure.
